Nearly half-way through the college baseball season, two Danville Dans lead Pepperdine in hitting.
Leading the team is shortstop Mike Silverstein, hitting .315 in 89 at bats with 28 hits, 3 doubles, and 8 walks. Coming in with a batting average of .310, outfielder Floyd Given has 2 home runs, 22 hits, 3 doubles and 9 walks.
Silverstein is a redshirt sophomore from Bell Canyon, CA and is the son of Mark Silverstein and Jan Schmidt. Given is a junior from Rohnert Park, CA and is the son of Floyd and Deborah Given.
